Ad Management Cost and Agency Fees in Saudi Arabia and the UAE

The cost of ad management in Saudi Arabia and the UAE in 2026 is usually calculated in one of three ways: a fixed monthly fee, a percentage of ad spend, or a mix of the two. Price guides published this year put management fees at mid-sized companies in Saudi Arabia between SAR 4,000 and SAR 25,000 a month, or between 12% and 20% of spend. These fees are separate from the budget paid to the platforms themselves. In this article we show the figures with their sources, explain what raises the fees, and show how we price ad management at M Zee.

Ways to price an ad agency’s fees

  • Fixed monthly fee: A fixed amount for a defined scope of platforms, campaigns, and reports, regardless of the size of spend within agreed limits.
  • Percentage of spend: Usually between 10% and 20% of monthly ad spend, according to the Big AL Consulting guide cited below.
  • Hybrid model: A fixed base fee, then a percentage on spend that exceeds a set threshold.

Each model has its own logic. A fixed fee is clearer for planning, and a percentage ties the fee to the size of the work as you scale, but it may create an incentive to raise spend. The most important thing is to know exactly what the amount includes.

Full-service agency fees in Saudi Arabia and the UAE

Some companies do not ask for ad management alone, but for an agency that runs all of their marketing. A guide published by upGrowth on 19 April 2026 about direct-to-consumer brand agencies in the Gulf divides monthly fees into four categories, and notes that performance marketing usually adds a management fee of between 10% and 15% of ad spend.

How the figures were gathered, and their limits

  • Collection date: 8 October 2026, from sources published in April and September 2026.
  • Geographic scope: Saudi Arabia in the first table, and Saudi Arabia and the UAE in the second table.
  • Type of sources: Guides published by consulting firms and agencies on their own websites, not an independent market survey. The second table is based on agencies that serve e-commerce and direct-to-consumer brands.
  • Conversion: The figure in the source currency is the reference, and the conversion is approximate, based on USD 1 = SAR 3.75 and AED 3.67, rounded to the nearest 100.
  • What the figures do not include: The ad spend itself, usually the production of designs and video, landing page development, and taxes.

What raises ad management fees?

Number of platforms and markets

Managing campaigns on one platform in one market differs from managing several platforms such as Meta, Google, Snapchat, and TikTok in Saudi Arabia and the UAE together, each with its own audience, messages, and reports.

Volume of creative production

Ads constantly need new designs and clips for testing. Ask whether production is included in the fees, and how many ad versions per month.

State of tracking and measurement

If tracking is incomplete, the first month may go on fixing events and connecting accounts before any real improvement in the campaigns.

Depth of reporting and analysis

A report that shows clicks and views differs from an analysis that links spend to orders, sales, and customer acquisition cost.

Size of spend

Larger spend means more tests and higher risk when something goes wrong, so fixed fees rise or are calculated as a tiered percentage.

How do we price ad management at M Zee?

We offer performance marketing and campaign management to brands that spend USD 5,000 or more per month on marketing, which is about SAR 19,000 or AED 18,000. Below that, the budget is usually not enough to test messages and audiences and read the results with confidence after the fees are paid, and the better step is to start by improving the page, the offer, or the tracking.

Ad spend is paid directly from the business’s account to the platforms, and the ad accounts stay in its name. Details are on the pricing page, and you can read how to set a marketing budget before deciding on spend.

FAQ

How much does an ad agency take from ad spend in Saudi Arabia?

According to the Big AL Consulting guide published in September 2026, the percentage is usually between 10% and 20% of spend, or between 12% and 20% for mid-sized companies. Some agencies prefer fixed fees or a hybrid model.

Are fixed fees better than a percentage of spend?

There is no single answer. Fixed fees are clearer for planning, and a percentage of spend changes with the size of the work. What matters is that the scope is written down: the platforms, the number of campaigns, the creative production, and the reports.

Does the ad management price include designing the ads?

That differs between agencies. Some include a set number of designs per month, and some charge production separately. Ask about the number, the formats, and who handles filming.

What is the minimum ad budget that makes sense for hiring an agency?

It depends on the market, the product, and the customer acquisition cost. At M Zee we require marketing spend of at least USD 5,000 a month for ad management, so that the fees remain a reasonable share of the budget and there is room for testing.

Who owns the ad accounts?

It is best for the ad accounts and analytics accounts to be in the business’s name from the start, with the agency given management access. This protects your data and your campaign history if the agency changes.
